Aerial footage from the disaster zone after a mudslide in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region shows a barrier lake had formed near Gyirong Port.

An eight-member engineering rescue team from China Anneng Group captured the footage after arriving in Gyirong County early Thursday to survey the disaster site.

The team is using drones, portable satellite stations and 3D laser scanners to conduct aerial surveys and do 3D modeling of the upstream barrier, helping monitor for secondary hazards.
