Three flights from Chengdu arrived in Lhasa on the morning of August 27, carrying 105 rescuers and 18,739 kilograms of relief supplies to support rescue efforts after a mudslide hit Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Wednesday.

The flights carried food, clothing, quilts, stretchers, detection equipment and cutting tools – all transported free of charge.

Supplies were seen being unloaded from the aircraft in Lhasa shortly after arrival.
