'Anticlimactic': Economist questions US bombing-sanctions cycle against Iran

Djavad Salehi-Isfahani, professor of economics at Virginia Tech, says the US "ratcheted up sanctions" – that didn't work – then bombed Iran for 50 days. When that didn't work either, Washington fell back on economic measures. He calls it a deeply anticlimactic end to an otherwise aggressive campaign.
