Closer cooperation among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states in green energy development is encouraging Uzbekistan to turn its abundant sunlight into clean electricity. The country has launched a series of large-scale green energy initiatives, with phase one of a solar project in Namangan already connected to the grid, powering greener development and helping "charge" the future.
