On August 26, 2026, part of a glacier nearly 5,000 meters above sea level broke off in Nepal. Seven minutes later, a wall of ice, mud and rock hit Gyirong Port in China's Xizang Autonomous Region. The scale and speed were devastating. But this wasn't a one-off. Chamoli in India. Blatten in Switzerland. The planet is warming and disasters are getting worse. Calls from all quarters are growing – we must act.
