Barrier Lake 01 formed by the mudslide at the China-Nepal border, is now under control, according to monitoring data from Anneng Group as of August 29. It covers around 100,000 square meters — roughly the size of 14 standard football fields. A second barrier lake, Lake 02, has also been identified about 5 kilometers upstream.
