At the request of the Nepali government, China's Ministry of Emergency Management dispatched tunnel experts to Nepal on Saturday to assist with rescue operations at a hydropower station tunnel.

The ministry said five experts arrived by helicopter in the disaster-hit area at around 16:58 BJT, while four more are on their way to Nepal as the rescue mission ramps up.
