An ice-rock avalanche originating from a high-mountain glacier in Nepal has been identified as the cause of a devastating mudslide that struck Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on August 26, local authorities said on Sunday. So far, over 2,000 rescuers have reached the mudslide-hit area to search for the missing.
