A year ago, the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) was unveiled at the 2025 SCO Summit in Tianjin. Its call for a fairer, more inclusive international order – one that addresses food security, digital governance and climate change – has since gained steady momentum. For Arab states and the Global South, the GGI touches on core issues: multilateralism, fair representation, and a stronger voice on the world stage.
