A 22-member PLA medical team has been deployed to mudslide-hit Gyirong County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region to provide emergency care, disease prevention and psychological support. The team brought more than 40 pieces of medical equipment and over 400 emergency supplies, including tetanus vaccines and disinfectants. Mental health professionals are also providing counseling to rescuers and support to affected residents.
