Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan on Sunday evening dined and had warm and friendly discussions with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and his wife Aigul Japarova at the presidential residence in Bishkek.

Xi landed in the Kyrgyz capital on Sunday afternoon for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2026 and a state visit to Kyrgyzstan.
