Iranian media: 'The Deputy Minister for Legal and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the claims made by the Americans regarding the openness of the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the strait is completely closed. He added that if any ship passes through it, it is with the coordination and permission of Iran, and that the Iranian armed forces have complete oversight of all activities in the strait.'
