Turkish foreign ministry: The first meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee, established under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement signed between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, will be held in Istanbul on August 31, 2026, with the participation of our Minister of National Defence, Mr. Yaşar Güler, our Chief of General Staff, General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and Pakistani and Saudi Arabian officials.
