Colorectal cancer, commonly known as bowel cancer, is the third most common cancer worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. Tackling it requires greater public awareness and better global cooperation.

To mark China's National Healthy Lifestyle Day on September 1, CGTN's Health Talk sits down with two experts from the University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Virginia Shaffer, a professor of surgery, and Dr. Ardaman Shergill, an oncology specialist, talk about how exercise and diet can reduce risk and what kind of medical and psychological support is available for patients.
