The Global Governance Initiative (GGI) has received support and responses from nearly 160 countries and international organizations. Meanwhile, more than 60 countries have joined the Group of Friends of Global Governance, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press briefing on Tuesday.

Mechanisms including BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have continued to expand and strengthen, with the representation and voice of the Global South growing steadily, Guo said.
