A mud-rock flow triggered by an ice-rock collapse in Nepal hit Gyirong Port in China's Xizang Autonomous Region on August 26, causing casualties and leaving people missing, while also forming a barrier lake.

As of September 1, the barrier lake has fully drained and risks are under control. Rescue teams continue search-and-rescue operations. Sufficient supplies are available for displaced residents, and disaster relief efforts are ongoing.
