Shanghai Port showcased their attacking dominance as the Chinese Super League giants earned a routine 3-0 away win over Shandong Taishan and booked their place in the semifinals of the Chinese FA Cup. 

The visitors quickly asserted their dominance, with Liu Zhurun putting Port ahead in the 18th minute after rounding goalkeeper Yu Jinyong and slotting the ball home. Just four minutes later, the Shandong defense faltered, allowing Ghanaian forward Prince Obeng Ampem to capitalize on a run down the left flank, fire home and double the lead for Port. 

Port's second-half performance continued to impress, with Leonardo striking the crossbar with a close-range effort that threatened to extend the margin further. In the 79th minute, Yang Xi added his name to the scoresheet, sealing the 3-0 victory and booking Port's place in the semifinals.

In other action, 10-man Dalian Yingbo pulled off a hard-fought 1-0 home win against Shanghai Shenhua despite being reduced to ten men for most of the game. The hosts faced a nightmare start when goalkeeper Huang Zihao was shown a straight red card just five minutes in, following a VAR review for a poor challenge outside the box.  

Dalian's resilience paid off shortly after halftime when Nicolae Stanciu won a penalty due to a handball in the box. He converted the spot-kick himself and scored what would be the only goal of the game.    

The contest took another turn in the 76th minute, as Shenhua's Saulo Mineiro also received a red card for a reckless challenge. Despite being reduced to ten men, Dalian held firm defensively to earn victory. 

Defending champions Beijing Guoan also secured their place in the last four, overcoming second-tier Lanzhou Longyuan Athletic 3-1. Guoan struck decisively in the 26th minute, with captain Zhang Xizhe setting up 19-year-old Deng Jiefu, who deftly gave the hosts a crucial lead. Lanzhou responded shortly after halftime through Lu Jiancheng, leveling the score at 1-1.

The match remained deadlocked until the 86th minute when a costly error from Lanzhou goalkeeper Mu Qianyu allowed Zhang Yuning to pounce and restore Guoan's lead. Deep into stoppage time, Cao Yongjing added a third to seal a 3-1 win for Guoan.
