Chinese rescuers reopened the G216 national highway to mudslide-hit Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on Wednesday morning, following around-the-clock rescue operations.

Heavy machinery has entered the core area to level roads and assist in the ongoing search for missing people.
