China released two new books on the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Wednesday, outlining the region’s regional and religious history.

Tian Weijiang, former Vice‑President of the Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, noted that the publications document authentic life in Xinjiang and serve as a gateway to understanding the region.
