Typhoon Saudel made its third landfall in Fujian on September 3, bringing sustained torrential rain. More than 122 townships recorded rainfall above 100 millimeters, with some areas receiving more than 250 millimeters. To mitigate flood risks, local authorities evacuated over 80,000 residents, suspended classes and construction work, and mobilized emergency rescue operations across the region.
