Three hundred and thirty-six rescue personnel conducted multiple rounds of comprehensive searches in the core disaster area of Gyirong Port, covering 1.591 million square meters, officials said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Before road access was restored, rescuers advanced toward the core area by water, land and air. More than 2,300 rescue personnel deployments and over 400 rescue vehicle deployments have been mobilized so far, along with thousands of pieces of equipment and more than 800 drone flights.
