China's delegation for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games was officially unveiled in Beijing on Friday, bringing together a formidable contingent of 1,274 members, led by 815 athletes set to compete across 38 sports and 369 events.

The lineup features 36 Olympic gold medalists from multiple disciplines including swimming, artistic swimming, badminton, boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline and shooting.

This edition marks Japan's third time hosting the continental competition after previously welcoming the event to Tokyo in 1958 and Hiroshima in 1994. The 20th Asian Games will take place from September 19 to October 4, showcasing 43 sports and athletes from 45 countries and regions.
