Two men trapped inside a tunnel at Nepal's Trishuli 3A hydropower project, which was badly affected by the August 26 mudslide, have been rescued after 10 days, the Nepali Army said on Friday.
The mudslide has devastated infrastructure along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river corridors, killing at least 1,290 people and leaving over 5,000 missing in Nepal.
Twenty-one people have been confirmed dead and 541 others were missing in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region as of Wednesday noon, according to the regional government.
