During the Asia-Pacific Media Forum in Shenzhen, Australian Associated Press editor-in-chief Andrew Robert Drummond visited renewable energy facilities in Guangdong, where China's typhoon-resistant wind turbines caught his attention.

He said renewable energy could help strengthen energy security, while greater technology and knowledge sharing could benefit economies across the Asia-Pacific.
