"You can see centuries-old cultural heritage right next to high-tech cities," he said.

Noting that new media now offers a strong platform for cultural exchange between Chinese and Egyptian youth, he said he hopes bilateral cooperation in digital media, vocational training, and trade among small and medium-sized enterprises could be further deepened.

Recalling his participation in the Five Provinces Museum Commentary Competition alongside young people from other countries, he said he realized then that youth communication does not need "big dramatic stories," only "regular people connecting."
