Sodiq Safoyev, Uzbekistan's first deputy Senate chairman and rector of the university, says the book house serves as a place to study China's experience of modernization. From agricultural reforms, development of special economic zones and efforts to combat corruption, he says that China's experience is "exemplary" for Uzbekistan.
