On May 16, 1935, the Red Army entered Xichang in southwest China's Sichuan Province and stayed for nine days. Now, the city is famous for its satellite launch center and has developed tourism themed on its aerospace industry. In the city's space exploration center, visitors can go inside a full-size model of the Tianhe Core Module of China's Space Station and explore how taikonauts live in space.
