In Xizang's Gyirong Township, a border hub frequented by global travelers, local restaurant owner Cai Jiu turned his eatery into a free canteen. Right after the deadly August 26th mudslide, he started serving hot meals to up to 300 stranded Nepalis, volunteers and rescuers daily, offering warmth amid the crisis.
