The August 26 mudslide has torn countless families apart in Nepal. As of September 7, 1,355 are dead and 4,996 are still missing, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
Subindra Nagarkoti rushed back from overseas to find his wife, three young sons, and his sister-in-law's family – eight relatives in total. His home is now rubble, and his family's names aren't on any rescue list. He's been searching for days. "My family is gone," he says, wondering how he'll go on.
