Iranian reports: 'The meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) was held on Monday evening with the participation of Mr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasizing the good and continuous relationship between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, presented a report to the representatives on the latest developments, including the agreement with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz, negotiations and mediation efforts, Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the recent summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the upcoming BRICS summit. He also discussed relations with neighboring countries, bilateral relations, joint projects, economic diplomacy, and the convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, the bill of which has recently been submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly.'
