This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, a military maneuver carried out by the Red Army from 1934 to 1936. The legendary journey was later recorded in the book "Red Star Over China" by the American journalist Edgar Snow. The book offered the world a rare, firsthand account of China at a time when the country was largely misunderstood by the West. Our reporter You Yang sat down with Eric Foster — nephew of Helen Foster Snow, who was Edgar Snow's wife at the time — to talk about his memories and the stories of the Long March.
