Dozens of anti-war activists gathered in Seoul, protesting US pressure on South Korea to deploy troops to the Strait of Hormuz.

Holding placards reading "No naval deployment to Hormuz" and "Do not join a war of aggression," they chanted slogans accusing the Trump administration of trying to drag Seoul into the Iran war.

South Korea has sent a team of military investigators to the Middle East for a security assessment of the critical waterway, but officials insist no decision has been made to deploy military assets to the region.
