The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will open on September 9 in Beijing. This year's fair will be held in Shougang Park and spotlight the environment and energy services as major highlights. The exhibition focuses on low-carbon energy transition, the circular economy, and advanced new materials, building a global platform for green cooperation.

Ianushauskas Stanislav, a Russian doctoral student at Wuhan University, shared his observations on China's green transformation. Specializing in environmental law research, he has witnessed firsthand the practical achievements of ecological governance along the Yangtze River in Hubei Province and the large-scale development of renewable energy in China. He suggested that China and Russia, both rich in natural resources, can deepen cooperation in areas such as forest protection, water resource management and green technology. Leveraging the strength of universities and young talent, the two countries can foster long-term collaboration and mutually beneficial sharing.
