This year marks the 20th anniversary of BRICS. Intra-bloc trade has expanded from $240 billion at inception to $1.17 trillion. As the largest trading partner of every BRICS member, China accounts for over 60% of intra-BRICS trade. Beyond economic ties, BRICS advances supply chain and resource resilience, and promotes global governance reform, amplifying the collective voice of the Global South.
