Chinese scientists have discovered a large high-quality seabed mineral deposit in the western Pacific. During an 18-day ocean mission, they found ore bodies with extremely high gold and silver levels. The 15.4 parts per million (ppm) gold and 1271 ppm silver content is much higher than most land mines.
