In an exclusive CGTN interview at this week's Lianyungang Public Security Cooperation Forum, INTERPOL Secretary General Valdecy Urquiza said fraud and cyber-related crimes have become a top priority for member countries and are growing in scale and complexity.
The INTERPOL chief stressed that such threats require collaboration, coordination and firm multilateralism, praising China as a strong partner in fighting fraud. He also underscored the importance of the China-proposed International Alliance Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud, calling it "absolutely key" and a "good step" toward a coordinated global response.
