A group of Pallas's cats has been caught on infrared cameras making a rare late-night appearance in northwest China's Qilian Mountain National Park.

The curious cats can be seen peering into the camera, seemingly fascinated by the mysterious device. Pallas's cats are typically solitary, making footage of them appearing together particularly rare.

As the ecosystem in the Qilian Mountains continues to recover, more and more rare and endangered wildlife is being captured on camera, offering a glimpse into the region's thriving biodiversity.
