On September 11, six world-first second-generation smart enclosed aquaculture cages set sail from south China's Guangdong Province to Norway. Each 750-tonne cage supports remote automatic control and unattended operation. It can produce up to 2,200 tonnes of high-quality Atlantic salmon every year, marking China's leading marine aquaculture tech breakthrough.
