Two 350-megawatt units at the world's largest salt cavern compressed air energy storage project have completed full-unit start-up in Changzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province on Saturday.

The milestone marks a major breakthrough in China's core technologies and system integration capabilities in large-capacity salt cavern compressed air energy storage.
