Bahraini MFA: 'In light of reports circulating in the media and on social media platforms regarding a proposed ministerial meeting on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies that the Kingdom of Bahrain will not participate. The Kingdom will not be a party to any collective meeting involving Iran prior to the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This position has already been conveyed to our brethren in the Sultanate of Oman through official channels; it neither diminishes the Kingdom’s appreciation for their sincere efforts nor alters its commitment to dialogue as a means of resolving disputes.'
