Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a candid and in-depth exchange of views on Saturday and reached an important consensus that China and India should be partners.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
