China's 2026 Cybersecurity Week opened on Monday in Jinan, east China's Shandong Province, with the release of the Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Framework 3.0 and several other cybersecurity achievements.

The event also released the 2026 Test Results for AI Technology-enabled Cybersecurity Applications and a list of consumer-grade networked camera products that have completed cybersecurity labeling registration.

The cybersecurity week is jointly organized by 10 government departments and organizations, including the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Public Security.

Running from September 14 to 20, this year's event is themed "Cybersecurity for the people, cybersecurity depends on the people – safeguarding cybersecurity in the intelligent era."

As AI technologies become increasingly integrated into various fields, the newly released framework highlights the importance of security governance in the intelligent era.

The framework was unveiled as part of China's broader efforts to promote cybersecurity and strengthen security safeguards for emerging technologies.

During the week, organizers will also hold a cybersecurity technology summit forum and several specialized forums, as well as activities focused on cybersecurity technology applications, talent recruitment, and public awareness.

The campaign will include themed days covering telecommunications, the rule of law, finance, youth and personal information protection, as well as cybersecurity awareness activities in different sectors.
