The military of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has conducted a joint firepower attack drill involving its long-range artillery and missile units, the official Korean Central News Agency said on Monday.

Subunits selected from the five artillery and missile joint units participated in the drill on Saturday, the report said, adding that the drill "involved new combat systems such as attack drones of various kinds, tactical cruise missile, large-caliber thermal-pressure multiple rocket launcher and tactical ballistic missile."

All strike weapon systems demonstrated the huge destructive power of concentrated fire during the drill, ensuring the unity and simultaneity of the firepower attacks, it said.
