Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday delivered a speech at Session I of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, India.

In an interview with CMG (China Media Group), Frans Machate, president of the Media and Communicators Network of South Africa, said that the speech, with the four global initiatives as its overarching vision, charted a path for future BRICS cooperation. Machate believes that the expanded BRICS family should build consensus, speak with one voice and help advance the common development of the Global South.
