Zelenskyy: 'Reports were presented on countering Russian "Shahed" drones and our work with manufacturers regarding a new generation of drone interceptors to protect against these jet-powered drones. Developments are underway, and testing is ongoing. We are accelerating all processes. Ukraine needs a functional defense system in sufficient quantities and with the necessary effectiveness. We discussed with the Minister of Defense, Yevhen Hmar, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatiuk, the steps that could expedite the results. The financial foundation for this work has been secured.'
