Ninety years after the victory of the Central Red Army's Long March, a new high-speed rail route has connected two iconic destinations in China since September 6.

Today, it takes only 11 hours and 32 minutes by train between Ruijin in east China's Jiangxi Province, the starting point of the Long March, and Yan'an of Shaanxi Province in the northwest, the revolutionary heartland of the Communist Party of China after the Long March.
