Neutral hydrogen is the raw material from which stars – and eventually galaxies – form. China's FAST radio telescope detected 156,411 extragalactic neutral hydrogen sources across nearly half the sky. The second data release is now the world's largest catalog of its kind, offering a new window for studying how galaxies evolve and are distributed across the cosmos.
