36,000-tonne bridge successfully rotated into position in Guangxi

On September 17, the main bridge of the Changli Interchange on the Guangxi Coastal Highway in south China was successfully rotated into position. Weighing 36,000 tonnes, the bridge set a new national record for the heaviest bridge of its kind to be rotated into position. It is also currently China's heaviest single-pier, twin-girder T-shaped rigid-frame bridge to have undergone a rotation into position.
