China's ethnic medicine systems carry thousands of years of local wisdom.

Professor Laxinamujila from Inner Mongolia Minzu University presents Mongolian non-surgical bone setting, a therapy rooted in nomadic culture. Countries within the SCO, such as Russia, Mongolia and Kazakhstan, share similar natural environments with China's Inner Mongolia.

"Their lifestyles have traditionally been shaped by nomadic culture, and they also share similarities in terms of disease patterns. All these factors provide a natural foundation for international cooperation," he said.

Dr. Ma Dehong, president of the Hospital of Traditional Dai Medicine of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, introduces Dai medicine, a medical system developed in tropical regions. He said it has distinctive therapeutic advantages in treating diseases common in the hot and humid climate of southern China. It has proven effective in reducing severe cases and mortality of dengue, a major threat across the Lancang-Mekong region. At present, China is deepening exchanges and cooperation in the field of Dai medicine under the international frameworks.
