Historian: Yasukuni Become War Criminal Shrine Since 1978

Alexis Dudden, professor of history at the Connecticut University, told CGTN that the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo has become a war criminal shrine since 1978 when 14 Class-A war criminals were enshrine there. Professor Dudden called the recent donation and remote worshiping to the shrine by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi as "dance around positioning yourself politically by use of exonerating war criminal guilt."
